How do we make our biochar products?
AgroEnable operates a recycling plant located at Rwamagana industrial district zone, equipped with advanced eco-friendly pyrolysis technologies that recycle organic biomass waste, directly collected from farmers and local agro-millers, coupled with municipal sludge from dumpsite into high quality carbon.
We use abundant sources of biomass and minimize logistical means to keep our production costs low to ensure our products are affordable for both the farmers and households.
The carbon (biochar) is blend to address specific crop critical soil challenges and deficiencies faced by famers determined through soil testing, such as nutrient depleted soils, low pest and disease resistance, acidic levels etc. Our fertilizers too can be used by small gardeners, individual farmers, cooperatives countrywide, and the East African region.
AgroEnable Biochar Service Hub
AgroEnable commits resources to provide technical and research-based support towards creating a sustainable biochar circular hub in Rwanda. It is our mandate to support companies and communities to improve their incomes helping them applying biochar-based fertilizers and transition to a more sustainable food production approach.
We will continue to directly support organizations in Rwanda integrate biochar products into their supply chains, securing long term supply of quality crops, as well as providing producers with inputs for improving yields and renewable energy.
By supporting agro dealer, aggregating companies, cooperatives and individual farmers with a wide range of extension services and knowledge is the key to improve our agricultural trade environment.

AgroEnable is a high social impact enterprise that provides free organic waste and bio-solid removal services to agro millers, traditional municipality sludge pits, and farmlands across the country, recycling it into high-quality biochar renewable cooking fuels and organic fertilizer for agricultural application and mineral blending.
